For The Love of Pits
I was very proud to host this group and want to thank them for coming out to the store.
They are a wonderful organization, who not only finds loving, safe homes for the dogs, but also educates people on this beautiful, gentle breed.
Here are the 3 American Pit Bulls the group brought with them. These dogs were so sweet and affectionate with everyone they came in contact with.
Mia, Blue their siblings had a difficult first few weeks!
For the first two weeks of their lives, they were kept in a tiny, filthy crate with their mom. After being taken to the humane society, all the pups came down with pneumonia.
This is Crystal, she is about 1 and half and weights about 50 lbs. and has a wonderful temperament. Crystal was abandoned in an empty house with 14 other malnourish dogs. She is a testament to how resilient and forgiving dogs are.
This is Preston, he is a certified Canine Good Citizen. He is about 40 pounds and 3 years old. He was so loving, all he wanted to do was sit on someone's lap and be pet.

Heaven Can Wait Rescue
I have had Heaven Can Wait here several times and they are wonderful. Recently someone dumped a cat carrier containing a mother cat and her 2 kittens here at the store. It was extremely upsetting to me that someone would abandoned these poor guys. I didn't know what to do with them, so I called Heaven Can Wait to see if they could help and thankfully they took the cat and kittens into there rescue. I am happy to report the 2 kittens were adopted to a loving home together, but their poor mom is still in need of a loving forever home. Here are some pictures of her.
